Join Us in Praying the Rosary for Our Families This Lent
6:00 PM | Tuesday – Friday praying for our families
St Thomas More Church, Seaford
This Lent, our parish invites you to deepen your faith and strengthen the **Domestic Church—our families** by praying the Holy Rosary together. Join Deacon Stephen and fellow parishioners as we turn to Our Lady for her intercession and guidance in our homes and hearts.
The Power of the Rosary
The Rosary is one of the most powerful and beloved devotions in the Catholic Church. Tradition holds that Our Lady gave the Rosary to St. Dominic in the 13th century as a means of deepening prayer, meditating on the life of Christ, and growing in holiness. For centuries, saints and popes have encouraged the faithful to pray the Rosary, especially in times of trial and uncertainty.
Our Lady’s Promises
The Blessed Virgin Mary has promised great graces to those who faithfully pray the Rosary. Among her 15 promises, she assures that:
- Families who pray together will remain united.
- Those who recite the Rosary devoutly will receive powerful protection.
- Sinners will find conversion and peace.
- The faithful will receive special graces at the hour of death.
Come and Pray With Us
During this holy season of Lent, let us commit to praying the Rosary for our families, our parish, and the world. Whether you come every evening or whenever you can, your prayers will be a gift to Our Lady and a blessing to your home.
All are welcome! Bring your Rosary beads and join us at St Thomas More Church, Seaford, at 6:00 PM, Tuesday to Friday throughout Lent.
