Last night we had our introductory meeting for the Echoes course with people from Seaford, Peacehaven, Lewes and Haywards Heath. The Echoes course presents the key knowledge and skills needed by those who hand-on faith to others. It equips helpers and catechists to build their confidence by: providing help with basic teaching skills, giving an overview of Catholic essentials, explaining how to use the Bible and Catechism in teaching emphasising links to worship and liturgy. We will start properly in the New Year – look out for updates!
